“Alaska’s Denali National Park is about the half the size of Switzerland.”

National Geographic Kids, 5,000 Awesome Facts

First off, Alaska has 365 million (!) acres, (15,899,400,000,000 sq feet) with 6.1 million of them being Denali National Park.

Switzerland has 10.202 million acres (444,399,120 sq ft), making Denali about 1/2 of that.

Alaska is 36 times larger than Switzerland. Wow.

Denali National Park has 6 million acres (261,360,000,000 sq ft) of the inner-land of Alaska. It includes it’s main attraction, Denali, or the 20,310 foot high Mt. McKinley (that’s 1876 stories!) which is the highest peak in North America.

But I believe Switzerland is neutral to all of these facts, and probably states “size doesn’t matter.”
