The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo had an exhibit that was shaped like a huge toilet in an effort to remove “potty talk” and to raise awareness about sewage disposal issues worldwide, for, according to the UN, 2.5 billion people do not have access to proper sanitation. People going down the 5 meter slide would put on a poo shaped hat before taking a trip down the toilet.


“Toilet!? – Human Waste & Earth’s Future” was the name of the exhibit in Osaka, Japan.

The exhibition has since ended, but it also included interactive educational materials about the “nature of feces and the impact of human and animal waste on the environment.” (www.upi.com)
