Yes, I’ve been camping. I went camping a few times at summer camp in Colorado at Camp St. Malo in the mountains. I was 10 and 11 (2 different years) and we had to carry our sleeping bags and back packs on our back to the spot. We settled around a fire while we were told stories of Big Foot that were told to be seen in the woods. The counselors didn’t call it Big Foot, they called them “Gronkers.” They even brought a fake head of a “Gronker” to show that they had proof of it. It rained on us and we all ended up sick afterwards but it was a lot of fun. I look back and it was absolutely amazing.
I also went camping several times in WA but it was more in those reserved camp spots where people are around in RV’s and not so secluded as it was my first time camping. It was also fun, but not as fun as being a kid hearing stories of Big Foot and being scared out of your wits that one will pop up at your tent. Camping is good clean fun and I recommend it.
