Kevin Shelley is into martial arts and is a fitness instructor, and was asked to come on to a German t.v. show after the Guinness Book of World Records in Germany flew him out to Cologne to break the Guinness World Record of 42 seats on a head. He passed up the 42 and did a substantial 46 seats. He did this in a matter of 60 seconds.

He said it was a matter of physics, eye hand coordination, and having a built up calcium deposit on his forehead.

He actually broke 48 for he broke 2 before the buzzer sounded, so those did not count towards the record.

He said getting the toilet seat up to his head was the hardest part, not cracking them on his head. He said that it felt more like running a race and was physically draining. Before a show he would practice doing 30 seconds, then take a break to catch his breath.

He was an elementary school teacher in the 1990’s, and did martial arts on the side.

He also has his own personal training business called Shelley Fitness that serves residents in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.shelleyfitness.com%2F&psig=AOvVaw24_aWOGfgGkq2QVgGqoeT8&ust=1716053707754000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CAUQn5wMahcKEwig7LS8nJWGAxUAAAAAHQAAAAAQBA

Shelley also has the record for most pine boards broken with the elbow in one minute, which was 43, and most pig iron bars broken on his head in one minute. Thirty-three. And now to add to his claim of fame is the 46 wooden toilet seats on his head. (www.youarecurrent.com)

He has performed martial arts demonstrations on American TV shows such as “Live with Regis and Kelly”, “Guinness World Records Primetime,” and “America’s Got Talent” to name a few.

It not only seems one has to have incredible talents to break toilet seats on one’s head, but to have a high IQ as well.
