On June 12th, 2010, ‘S Heeren Loo, according to guinnessworldrecords.com, created a toilet paper roll chain with 92,080 rolls in Bedum, Netherlands landing a Guinness Book of World Records for the longest toilet paper roll.

I’m not quite sure how the idea came about but if anybody is interested in setting a new world record can go to Guinness World Record website where there is a beginner’s guide on how to make and break current world records.
Toilet paper tubes can be found to be purchased on certain sites such as Ebay, Itsy and Amazon. The tubes can be used in a variety of ways such as crafts, containing cords, and using them for seed starters for plants.
To make a toilet paper roll chain simply unroll the tube, loop it onto another one and staple or glue it on the end.
Continue until desired length. There are many YouTube videos teaching the technique on making a successful toilet paper roll chain, and the many uses a simple toilet paper tube can make.
