So very interesting couple of days that occurred. Charley this morning freaked out and started pulling me something fierce and almost got out of her collar so she could run away. I don’t know why. I know she is scared of the steam coming out of the sewage steel plates, and that was happening while we were walking by, but also the wind was blowing and she had her nose in the air sniffing right before she went into an episode. I don’t know if she smelled danger from another dog in the air, or what exactly it was, but it has me perplexed. I don’t like when she gets like that because no matter what I do it won’t calm her down.

I got my watercolor paper a few days ago, and it really makes a difference. I’m amazed at how different things look on 100% cotton paper, specifically the Legion Stonehenge brand I got from Blick Art. I also bought new brushes from the 4050 series by Princeton, and I hope they work better than my Dollar Tree ones. I was inspired to buy these after watching an artist named Jenna Rainey. I am obsessed with painting at this time. It’s fun and extremely relaxing.

But Charley doesn’t like it when I spend time on anything but her.

But my main thing that happened is that I found out I have a half sister. From 23 and me. She contacted me. This is a long story and I think I’ll put it in a whole different post.
